STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
FUNZEL has created strategic alliances with several companies and academic institutions that include, among others that are added day by day: Banco DAVIVIENDA, TERMOENCOGIBLES, two partners since 2009, supporting reproduction pens for sea turtles, Usulután Credit Units, Fundación Sigma, DIANA Products, American Confectionery, Golden Wings and Tecnutral, to which honorary members and friends of FUNZEL are added, all of which have made it possible for us to continue providing services and maintain a specialized work team.
The support to MARN is permanent; a Cooperation Agreement has been signed for the promotion of the application of wildlife regulations and veterinary care to wounded species that are trafficked and illicitly traded.

TERMOENCOGIBLES
Year after year since 2010, an alliance has been renewed with Termoencogible, releasing to date more than half a million turtles in Tasajera Island. Additionally, a group of employees collaborating as volunteers have cleaned different beaches of El Salvador. Last season they collect more than a thousand pounds of trash!
USULUTAN CREDIT UNION
For the fourth consecutive year Usulután Credit Union has supported the Sea Turtle Conservation Program through FUNZEL; 87,400 hatchlings have been released with their support.
FRANCISCO GAVIDIA UNIVERSITY
Since 2012 Francisco Gavidia University (UFG)supports the maintenance of the Incubation pen on Isla Tasajera. Part of the agreement with UFG is the exchange of experiences that their students have with the community of said Island.
ENVIRONMENTAL INVESTMENT FUND OF EL SALVADOR (FIAES)
Since 2016, FUNZEL has implemented projects funded by FIAES focusing on the conservation of sea turtles, development of coastal communities and protection of mangroves.
MINISTRY OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (MARN)
FUNZEL has always worked in collaboration with government authorities. Since 2009 FUNZEL has supported the MARN in strengthening the ministerial regulation that prohibits the sale and consumption of sea turtle eggs. All sea turtle conservation projects that we implement are governed by the guidelines and parameters dictated by MARN.
